My bestfreind thinks I'm lying to her to get her from doing something stupid!!?

So there's this club called DTD'S in my home town for highschool girls. They do really mean things to girls sorta like sororitys and at the end of the week they tell you who made it int he club. Well the girls who are incharge I kno very well and none of them think this girl (my freind) is very cool. So they told me they were going to torture her and not let her in. She thinks I'm lying and am telling her that so that she want try out and make me seen um cool!! So not true!! Help!
